Also, I loved the nature aspect throughout the novel, as that is something that has always been intriguing to me, and the fact that they’re navigating through a storm gives the story that nice edge. I won’t say much, because I want you all to enjoy it blindly as I did. The novel is a story of hardships, nature and human nature as well as survival. ![]() ![]() ![]() I loved the added culture and representation. I loved the fact that one of the leads was Puerto Rican. Although it is a middle grade book, and I typically stay with YA and NA now, the story line was quite intriguing and kept me invested for most of the novel.
